itinerary (aka why is my life so crazy?!)

thursday-  pack, pack, pack.  both for our big move and for our trip to california!  stop by our small group to see if either of the two babies we’re expecting have arrived yet. 

friday-  wake-up call at 4 am, get ourselves and mikey ready for our 6:30 am flight to sacramento!  deal with a lay-over in denver, arrive in california, get our rental car, drive two hours to phil’s mom’s house.  mikey gets to see his grandma again!  the last time she saw him, he was only three weeks old.

friday-to-monday-  hang out with phil’s mom.  eat good food.  hope that mikey gets over his stranger anxiety thing so that his grandma can hold him, too.

tuesday-to-thursday- drive back up to davis.  phil works two days slicing brains.  mikey and i hang out.  eat in-n-out.  eat jack in the box.  soak up the california sun.  mikey meets his uncle richard.

*meanwhile, back at the ranch* wednesday- our closing date for the house!!!  at this point, my dad’s still working on securing the loan (looong story), so we may have to extend the escrow but we’re HOPING that we won’t have to.

thursday evening- fly back home to minnesota.  hopefully have a new home to move in to!

friday- finish packing up.

saturday- moving in day!

pray, pray, pray that the loan comes through and we don’t have to extend the escrow.  or we may have to scramble for a place to stay as we have to be out of our current apartment very soon…
