it’s a miracle!
apparently mikey’s decided that mommy is old news. in just this last week or two, he’s a changed boy. he’s happily stayed in the church nursery for the whole service, he’s actually wanted to be held by other people, and even snuggled (gasp!) with our friend joe.
this morning, we had a little playdate at my house (
) with two other moms and their babies. mikey had a great time inspecting the two younger babies, ‘sharing’ his toys, and then reveled in being held by the other moms! who is this kid?! here he is with his new buddy, mrs. lorie-
i was so astounded, i had to take a pic! 
crazy boy, he even started crying when his new buddies had to leave.
the best part is that he’s all about dad these days. finally phil gets showered with mikey hugs and kisses. he literally writhes with joy and anticipation when phil walks through the door.
it is a new day indeed.

can’t wait for megan to make that change! well, maybe secretly i love the fact that she loves me so much, but yeah, it would be nice to get a break now and then. hey, post more pictures of your home! 🙂
