california adventures, leg three.

(man, it feels like so long ago already!)

so we spent the third part of our trip with my mom in pismo beach. here we are near the cliffs to watch the sunset. it was sooo windy that evening!

seemed like phil really enjoyed our rental car, a pt cruiser. he sure took a lot of pictures of the thing! i think he thinks it’s named after him. hee hee. it was cool though, the best part was that it was BRAND new when we got it- only had two miles on it!

while we were at my mom’s place, we got to stop by and see my friend (from junior high school!) kate and meet her little guy, ian. what a cutie! and bum me out, they’re almost the same size even though mikey’s 8 months older!

*sidenote- we took mikey for his one-year checkup with the doctor a couple days ago. little stinker is STILL only 17 pounds, 3 ounces! he’s in the 0.28% for weight. great. mikey eats anything and everything like crazy and he’s still SO small! but the doctor said he’s just following his own developmental curve and he’s doing fine since he’s proportionally small all around. still i worry…
