golden gophers

so the tsai fam went to the minnesota vs. ohio game saturday afternoon. mikey’s first college football game!

and what football game would be complete without a little tailgating? we picked up breakfast at burger king and ate it in our trunk before heading over to the metrodome.

beware of gophers!

amazingly, mikey was content to sit on our laps for the whole first half of the game! it was a good thing too since our seats were smack in the middle of a filled section. we were worried that he’d get squirmy and want to get down to get his wiggles out. turns out he was fascinated with the guys running around on the field and everyone around us yelling.

after a while though, he decided it was much too loud! (we’ve never seen him plug his ears before).

we decided to move up to an empty row during halftime to have some extra room just in case. maybe it was a little too high up as mikey seemed to prefer sitting with us rather than walking in the row. all in all, a fun family day even though the gophers ended up losing!
