go vikes!
our good friends, adam and lorie, invited us to join them for the vikings preseason game against the oakland raiders. adam was even nice enough to find us babysitters (other good friends of ours) for mikey. allie came with us as i had to feed her midway through the game. she was a trooper and hung in there even though we kept her up waaaay past her usual bedtime. we had a great time hanging out with our friends in spite of the rowdy fans around us picking fights with each other. as for mikey… with the undivided attention of two grown-ups who did anything and everything he wanted, the boy had a blast!

gettin’ her game face on
the vikes made quite an entrance!
taking in the sights
and guess who made in onto the big screen? (please excuse my big ole lame smile!)
i think allie had a good time at her first game!
btw, the credit for allie’s outfit goes entirely to phil as he’s the one who suggested it, then went and bought it for her!

i love the hair and the outfit…looks like a cheerleader in the making. that is neat that you made it on the big screen. funny, if that were me, i’d be pointing and smiling saying, “hey look that’s me.” and “hi mom” so much fun you have in MN. it must be a mecca of good old fashioned fun.

Love the game face pic! What a great time had by all. Remind me to tell you a post-game story about the fact that we got up on the big screen.
