it’s currently 17 degrees outside. i have two kids *almost* over their colds. we have been housebound for the last four days. we are bouncing off the walls. what do we do when we’re stuck at home? see below.
after lunch today, i decided enough was enough. we braved the cold and went over to the library to change it up a bit. when i asked mikey if he wanted to go to the library, he bolted to the door whooping and hollering, “library! library!” never have i seen him so excited to go out.
once there, he headed straight to the little train table in the kids’ area. he played happily and when another little boy came over to play, mikey handed him the two cars he was holding and said, “here you go.” then he came over to me, smiled, and said, “i share!” then he sighed happily and went back to play with the boy. sadly, the other boy had to leave then but mikey wasn’t phased, he just waved and said “bye!” he was just so happy to be there.
oh how i love my precious little guy. sniff, sniff!

RYC: you had your baby that night after the movie??? OMG! Were you having contractions earlier? And yeah… if you knew it would be your last movie, i’m sure you would have picked a different movie! heheh

oh my. 17 degrees? it must have felt sooo good to get out of the house. mikey is growing up sooo fast. i can’t believe allie is already 8 months old! she was just 6 months old (it seemed) a week ago…
