buried…
what do you call a kid who bundles up in twenty layers of clothes just to play in the snow for twenty frigid minutes?
a minnesotan.
it’s hard to believe that spring is just around the corner when it still feels like the dead of winter around here. it’s currently 18 degrees and depressingly overcast. but it was beautiful and sunny (though still very cold) over the weekend. with over two feet of snow on the ground, we decided to brave the cold and enjoy our final minnesota winter.
mikey’s become a real fan of sledding lately.
meanwhile, allie stayed nice and toasty in her stroller buried under sweaters and blankets.
phil couldn’t resist getting in on the fun, though he claimed he was “testing” the snow for safety…
still such a kid at heart!
here’s mikey running up our front walk.
look at all the snow on our grill behind mikey!
and check out the crazy icicles outside our bedroom window!
this icicle was just about as tall as mikey.
to state the obvious, there’s just a LOT of snow everywhere.

It looks like you guys are at Mammoth or something vacationing. hee hee….although I’m sure that it doesn’t quite feel like a vacation when you can’t just drive back to warm weather. Stay warm and bundled! ๐

What a beautiful day! Playing in the snow is the one thing I do miss, but not shoveling the driveway=)

That looks fun! The midwest has better snow than the east coast. NY snow is so blah. By the way, those are some really, really great pictures.
