happy birthday, daddy!

it’s birthday season in our house as we all share spring birthdays within two months of each other.

today, it’s phil’s day.

and so we just wanted to wish the best husband and daddy in the world a very happy birthday! we loooooove you so much! we love how you work so hard to provide for us. we love how you don’t hesitate to do so. we love how you sacrifice even sleep to be able to take us on family outings after working all night. we love how you are so patient and caring in everything you do. we love how we can depend on you. we love how thoughtful you are. we love how you pray for us every day. the list could go on and on…

mikey, allie, and i are truly blessed to have you leading our family.

we love how you willingly go out for a walk after a long, tiring day at work just so mikey can show you how he can now pedal his tricycle. and then end up carrying that trike (uncomplainingly, too!) halfway around the lake when mikey tired of riding it.
