bubbles!
we found this fun little bubble set at a local japanese market the other day. not only was it actually made in japan (i thought everything was made in china these days!), but the set contained these unusual bubble blowers. much easier to use than the regular ones, as allie will demonstrate below. and happily enough, there were TWO blowers, so we didn’t have to practice patience and taking turns this time around. making for a much happier afternoon.
see, big brother? this is how it’s done.
mikey had a bit of trouble at first because he was blowing too hard. but he got the hang of it in no time!
allie preferred the hands-free method.
check out that BIG bubble! (heh heh, mommy blew that one!)
i was so glad allie was able to blow bubblesby herself too. she loved the “bubbas”!
not only was blowing the bubbles fun, but chasing after them was pretty entertaining, too!
not a bad way to spend a november afternoon, no?

Cool bubbles! Our neighbor girls have those blowy things too. Very fun. Allie looks so much like Phil in these pics! She’s growing up too fast…and she can talk?! You should post videos soon, so us “shivering” Minnesotans can hear her words! It’s 34 degrees here tonight….so crazy that your kids are still in shorts & T-shirts!

if you teach your kids how to smoke you can make smoke-filled bubbles!…but then that would be bad parenting…
