gong hei fat choy!

happy chinese new year!  ok, one day late, but phil was on call yesterday, so we had to wait til today.  phil insisted we go out and buy little red envelopes to give the kids this year.  the kids picked out mickey and minnie envelopes.  kinda loses the ethnic flair, no?  aw well, they each earned two bucks for chinese new year.  hey, they only got them from us and we’re broke, remember?

chinese new year

i’m baaa-ack!    the all-day nausea (with actual throwing up, even with medication this time), exhaustion, combined with looking after two little kids while husband had to work intensely insane hours for three weeks was rough.  to put it mildly.  but God is good, we made it through, and i’m feeling muuuuch better now at 15.5 weeks.  except the skunk smell at night still regularly pushes me over the edge.

will be back with vacation pictures!

i’m so glad for you that the sickness has passed. i caught the stomach flu last week and it so reminded me of morning sickness. that is my least favorite part of pregnancy.  Can’t wait to hear what you are having…soon, right? šŸ™‚

YAY you are back, you went on a cruise? my parents are on a 2 wk cruise to Hawaii (so jealous) i’ve been dying to go on one, even a little one with the kiddos. How did you do it with being preggers and having morning sickness?

oh!  i’m so glad you have made it through to the other side of that.  i know how bad morning sickness can be…without adding on top of that taking care of two kids and a husband with insane hours.  praise God!!!  He has pulled you through.  You are amazing, too.  can’t wait to find out if you are having a boy or girl!
