in other news, we’re s l o w l y getting settled into our new home, which we LOVE! and we’re also still slowly moving the rest of our stuff out of the old place and getting it cleaned up. this move is never-ending! it’s becoming rather unmotivating to unpack a box in the new place that i just barely got packed in the old place. sigh.
while phil and i have been busy with the move, the kids have found plenty to keep them entertained. mikey and allie love what they call “new house” and mikey’s always asking if we’re coming back to it whenever we leave. seems like he thinks we’re vacationing in the house and will have to leave it at some point. in fact, it only took him one night to adjust to sleeping in his new room. allie needed no adjustment time– the girl can sleep anywhere, any place when she’s tired.
anyway, like i was saying, the kids found plenty of fun things to do.

watching “harold and the purple crayon” video (i found this at the dollar store! the kids LOVE it!) together:
and taking baths in the roomy tub (the kids would happily stay in there for hours if we let them!):
we also managed to squeeze in a little cake for phil who had a birthday last week:
a couple of eager helpers had to help daddy blow out his candles:
upon seeing one of the three-candle clusters, mikey asked, “daddy, are you three?”

Ahhh…I love updates and pics!
Too funny…Mikey dwarfs his old booster and bib in that first shot…but, on the flip side, he looks shockingly the same size as Allie in the ‘purple crayon video’ shot. Love it all…pan heads…tub shot…Phil’s b-day…I don’t think I’ve ever seen his hair that long…a new look for him. I’m still looking for that shot of lovely pregnant you, though! Maybe next update…along with pics of the new home…

Harold & Purple Crayon…never heard of it. Is it that good? (Trying to find dvds to take with on my 15-hour flight with Matthew.) Any suggestions?
