she’s a big girl now…
my precious allie-girl turned 3 years old today! her party is this coming saturday, so we kept it pretty low key today. we offered to take her out to dinner and then go swimming this evening, but she asked if we could just stay home. i think she was pretty tired from an extra-long playdate this afternoon at a friend’s house. so phil took her to pick up some of the kids’ favorite teriyaki beef and chicken, and then to the video store to let her pick out a movie to watch tonight. she chose “over the hedge” and “madagascar 2”. we let the kids watch the first one while eating dinner (it was getting pretty late trying to pack it all in). then we had a little birthday cake for her tonight.

my dear allie, we are so thankful to the Lord for you! you bring such joy, laughter and so much fun to our family. we just couldn’t do without you. we love your silly sense of humor, your sweet little voice, and your kind-hearted ways. so remember allie-girl, daddy loves you, mommy loves you, mikey loves you, lauren loves you, grandpa loves you, but most of all, JESUS loves you!
this year, you love to jump, you run like phoebe from friends, you say 8-9 word sentences. you know your colors, you draw in circles, and can hold a pen/pencil properly even though we never taught you that, you love to sing abcs, twinkle star, awesome god, bob the builder, wonder pets, you love baby dolls, and your b.

@jjohnson32 – hey jess, thank you! you have a great memory- we did get the cake from the same place that we went to for allie and phil’s birthdays last year. they’re from a chinese bakery near where we live. we like them because they’re not too sweet and have lots of yummy fruit on top and in the middle. kinda like a fruit tart and cake all in one!

@hongfamilia – thank you! i always especially appreciate it whenever anyone thinks any one of my kids look like me. most people always say they all look like different versions of their daddy. yes, the goal is to give her a fun party this weekend, but why does that end up meaning super stress for me in trying to get ready for it?!

Happy birthday Allie-Funny, in our family March Madness has nothing to do with sports…it is all about the birthdays. my 2 brothers, my dearly departed grandpa (same day as yours) my dearly departed fil (day prior to yours), my niece, and my precious girly, and yours *yeppers you are still part of my family. oh and my dad’s mom(but that relationship is strained so i tend for forget it) totally a big month for Hallmark and the UPS man.love all of you Tsai’s….even my mom says the girls both look like their mama!!!
