birthday recap
ok, so my birthday was at the end of march. phil was on call though, so the actual day was just business as usual taking care of the kids. it was fine for most of the day, but i did throw a little pity party in the afternoon when phil also acted like it was no big deal. hey man, it’s fine for me to act like it’s not a big deal that he wasn’t there, but a different issue entirely when he acts that way! humph! so i bought myself a couple of books that i had been wanting.
but phil more than made up for it over the rest of that weekend. he brought home flowers and a cake saturday morning, even though he was post-call and crazy tired…

we had the cake after dinner that night.
then on sunday evening, we put the kids to bed early and phil went out and got food from il toscano. so nice to have a quiet dinner for two!
so instead of a birthday day, i ended up with a birthday weekend spent with my favorite people! i am undeservedly blessed.

Girl, give him credit…Thats pretty romantic of him….You are one of the many xanga who got mad photographic talent……….i’m not a flower person but those pics makes me wanna go out and get some………….Girl, did you have to post that pic of good fun and delicious cake whem my hungry pains are kicking in……..?? lol….Great pics and happy birthday..You look great!

@HSookiC – thank you! those romantic dinners get to be too few and far between… funny how EVERY meal before kids could easily be considered ‘romantic’ now!

good…it really is good…and if you have more biscuit…you can always eat it with jam…..enjoy, so easy and simple…BTW, the biscuit is also nice and sweet……….

Happy birthday, Michelle-Phil always comes through. So what books did you get? Do you remember all those birthdays in junior high and high school….makes me miss Pappy’s, but that dinner totally would kick Pappy’s butt. Is that the time in the back ground? 9:37pm, I’m already in bed at that time.
