Personal Gone to Grandpa’s, part 3 February 14, 2015 / Our last day with the grandparents arrived all too soon. But first, this little guy. My dad called me outside the previous evening and told me to bring my camera. Curious, I followed the mysterious old man outside and around the house, past the brown shed, when suddenly he stopped and pointed. I turned to look and saw this cute little rabbit just sitting there looking as curiously at me as I was at him. He let me get this close to him before he hopped away. My dad said this rabbit had been hanging around the last couple weeks but never sat still long enough for a picture. Until that evening. Grandma faithfully cooking up a full breakfast before sending us on our way. She even baked us a fresh loaf of whole wheat bread topped with chia seeds. Now why were we leaving again?? Playing fetch with sweet old Lily. Grandpa whisked Jonah off in the van under the guise of filling the tank with gas. They did, but then also made an extra stop. Which the older three found to be utterly outrageous. These two rascals. Peas in a pod, I tell ya. Lily, aka center of attention. Best ever grandparents. Planning to be back sooner than later. Love them.
