Aesop’s Fables

And suddenly, the end of the school year was upon us. Which included Lauren’s kindergarten show, “Aesop’s Fables”.

Here she is, walking in with her best buddy, A.

She kept asking in the weeks prior if I'd be coming to see her in the show. No way I'd miss it, I assured her.

She was excited and nervous to have TWO roles in the show- one was holding the grapes and the other was a speaking part. She held those grapes like an old seasoned grape-holding pro.

"The mouse asked the lion to spare him, even though they were so different" she said into the microphone with only a little bit of detectable nervousness in her voice.

A buddy makes everything better.

Especially best buddy hugs.

So thankful for her calm and gentle kindergarten teacher who helped our girl grow and learn and thrive this year.

Way to go, my girl! Sooo proud of this girl who rocked kindergarten, made great friends, grew in confidence, and all around loved this year of school. This was the kindergarten experience we wanted for her and I am so glad we followed our gut and gave her an extra year to mature enough to be ready for it. What a difference a year makes!
