When a sweet friend asked if I would do a session with her brand new family of five, the only possible answer to that was YES. Maybe even before she finished asking the question. Adorable, happy kids. Loving mom and dad. Squishy bundle of newborn. All in the comfort of their lovely home where affection and laughter could be found in every corner even while the crazy wind howled outside.
Well, let me think about that one. Not.
One of my very favorite afternoons spent with a dear family.
Brand new bundle of baby love. Aaagh, it took all I had not to scoop him up and start inhaling his babyness immediately. It’s important to remain professional, er, at least normal, even in the face of irresistableness. Or so I’ve been told.
That face! Those wittle wips! All the heart eyes.
I had to tear myself away so mama could tend to baby. Thankfully, I had this awesome buddy and his big sister and their daddy to hang out with.
Just doing their family life which included readings of Ninjago.
Gameboard time.
Some father-daughter dancing which included lots of twirling (my favorite).
And also some father-son jamming. More heart eyes.
Meanwhile, full tummy = contented little guy.
It’s like he’s always been part of the gang.
Stop! I cannot take any more sweetness! Aaahhh!
A quiet moment with big sis as she showed me her teeny tiny little picnic toys.
Sweetest big sister ever.
Love, love, love you guys! You did good. Three times over.
