vacation fun, part 5.1
ok, i’m back! the thought of having to go through 769 photos from palm springs and select the ones for this entry led me to procrastinate for many days. but here i am with more than a few photos to post from the last week of our vacation. i think i’ll do this in three installments to keep this from being the longest entry ever. alright, so we drove over to palm springs on a tuesday afternoon. being that we were at the circus and chuck e. cheese’s only the night before, and i had left the task of packing all five of us til the very day we…

vacation recap, part four
the day before we left for palm springs, we were able to take our kids and our friends’ kids to the circus and chuck e. cheese’s. we had been wanting to do something with this family since they are the ones who babysit our kids for us the most often. so anyway, phil came up with this idea and it ended up being really fun for all of us! six kids vs. two adults… we were very outnumbered, but all the kids were very well-behaved and made it really easy on us. feeding them lots and lots of snacks didn’t hurt, either. some shots of the various circus performers… i…

my happy face
mikey and i were looking at some older entries this afternoon and came across pictures from his fourth birthday. at the end of that entry, i had put a sad face because i was thinking about how quickly the time has passed since he was my little baby. being my first, he was my only baby and little did i know then just how precious the time was when it was just him and i. and i was getting a little sad thinking about how quickly these next years will pass and how he’ll grow up and one day leave me. hence the sad face. mikey spotted the sad face…
