to celebrate his birthday on friday, phil and i were able to go on a date!  phil got the day off and my good friend jammie graciously agreed to watch our two kiddos along with her own two kiddos (all by herself– hats off to the brave woman!) so that phil and i could enjoy some alone time. phil’s only request for the day was that we go watch a movie in a theater so i looked online to see what was showing.  pretty slim pickings for 10:30 am showings.  we ended up watching “blades of glory”.  not my cup of tea, but it was phil’s pick and i was happy to…

this entry is a bit out of order because i wanted to get a post in to say happy birthday to phil on his actual birthday.  the pics from the previous entry were actually taken early last week and this entry has more taken from that same day. finally, FINALLY, spring has arrived for good.  we went from temps in the 20s straight up to temps now in the 70s!    minnesota weather is never boring, to say the least.  i *think* it’s safe to say we’re done with snow.  i’m sure i’ll miss it next winter, but for now, all i can say is good riddance!  with all this…

we just had our second open house yesterday.  we’ve received calls for seven house showings in the last two weeks.  it’s worked out to be roughly every other day.  the good part about so many showings is that the house stays fairly presentable.  the bad part is that it still takes me a good two hours to do all the little “last minute” touch-ups for each showing.  not to mention my two little tornadoes who think it’s their job to follow me from room to room undoing all the cleaning i just did.  that part gets a tad frustrating.  it’s not their fault since they don’t know what’s going on, but still…
