phil came home from work yesterday with a surprise anniversary gift for me:   so i’ve been busy reading the manual cover to cover and playing with it ever since.  click on any of the images below to see a bigger version. mikey   allie      

i wore a dress of white embroidered flowers and pearls you were so handsome in a black tux with tails beautiful flowers filled the church jonathan was our ring boy, minna was matron of honor, and dan officiated the ceremony we hugged our parents goodbye we lit our unity candle that still burns today i went from a ‘kim’ to a ‘tsai’ our bridal party was filled with our best good friends mikey and allie were still ‘someday’ dreams yet to be realized (and what precious gifts from the Lord they are!) you sang me a song that made me cry i smiled and laughed so much my cheeks hurt…

i didn’t think we’d get to see fireworks this year as the little munchkins had to get to bed before they start at 10 pm.  but lo and behold, we got to a great view of them from right behind our place!  have i mentioned how much i looooove our home here?!  so much great stuff literally right outside our door!   

though minneapolis is considered a metropolitan, big city, it still retains that ‘small town’ feel.  something both phil and i really like about minnesota.  people still say ‘hi’ to each other in passing.  random strangers will come up to you to offer advice or help if you look like you need it.  and not freaky weirdo strangers, either!  i can’t tell you how many times people have struck up random conversations with me while i was grocery shopping.  an older gentleman even asked phil how we liked our car once while we were in a parking lot.  turns out he was considering buying one and wanted to know if it was a good buy. …

so, i’ve decided to go green.  not the total crunchy granola hippie girl green, mind you.  but in the best interest of my family and in trying to be a good steward of the world God created, i’m going green.  i’ve noticed that mikey’s been getting a lot of skin rashes since he was a wee baby and i’ve been having a bad bout of indoor allergies this season.  perhaps some small changes would be beneficial.  and good for the environment, too!  there’s some pretty nifty stuff out there!  our new laundry detergent:   and did you know dryer sheets are really toxic?  i was surprised by that.  click here or…
