allie’s not a big fan.  she usually cries the moment i roll her onto her tummy.  quite the opposite of her brother who wanted to have nothing to do with being on his back.  this is probably why mikey could totally lift and hold his own head up since he was two months old and why allie barely lifts hers off the ground at three and a half months old.  

some days, you just can’t win ’em all…

there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth today as phil reported to the hospital for his first day of work as doctor tsai.  actually, there wasn’t, though mikey did ask for daddy all throughout the day.  i’d answer his “daddy?” with, “daddy’s at work, he’s a doctor.”  so that by the afternoon, mikey would answer his own “daddy?” with “work… dockter.”  phil thought that was cute when i told him about it over the phone.  we’ll sure miss him this year!
