birth story so last friday evening, mikey and i were hanging out in his playroom around 7 pm. phil was on call at the hospital and called me just to check in and to tell me that ‘deal or no deal’ was on tv. i told him that i’d had a few irregular contractions again but it didn’t look like it was going to turn in to the real thing anytime soon. this was my 3rd (or 4th?) bout of ‘false labor’ and was beginning to lose hope that the baby was ever going to come. phil was sure this was it though, mostly because he really didn’t want to…

introducing… allison kristine tsai born on march 18 at 7:06 am 6 lbs 3/4 oz 18 1/2 inches long here’s mommy and allie just minutes after she was born daddy’s little girl already got him wrapped around her little finger! mikey meets the newest tsai let the adventure begin!

match day, 2006 findings from my prenatal appointment this afternoon: 3 cm dilated, 80% effaced, head very low. but, baby stayed put in order for us to make it to match day! first, we enjoyed a few pastries and orange juice. after a few ‘filler’ speeches, it was time for the med students to pick up their envelopes with their fate inside! here’s phil just moments before finding out the big news!
