ok mommies, i need your input!  i’d like to get a new diaper bag and don’t know where to start.  i currently use a le little tripper and it’s been great for everyday use for mikey’s and my stuff.  but it’s *just* big enough.  meaning, i’m going to need something a little bigger when i have two to tote around.  and maybe a backpack this time.  other considerations- i want something pretty!  and, and… girly!    since i use it everyday in place of a purse, i’m feeling ready for something less utilitarian and more cute (but not in a winnie the poohs all over it sort of way)!  phil was…

so it snowed all day yesterday and today.  we’re up to our keisters in the white stuff!  since it wasn’t too too cold yesterday afternoon (if you consider 28 degrees not too bad) mikey and i ventured out to get our mail.  two layers of clothes, snowsuit, hat, mittens, boots, and twenty minutes later, we finally made it outside!  i tried to get mikey to make a snow angel in our driveway, but he looked kinda miserable because the snow (which was still coming down) was falling right into his eyes.  he kept them tightly closed.  heh heh.   mikey standing in front of a snow bank on our lawn.  hard to tell but…

o christmas tree we finally got a chance to get a christmas tree last saturday.  this year, we decided to drive out to a tree farm and cut down our own tree.  ok, ok, so this was my bright idea- just to get pics of phil doing manual labor for a xanga entry!    our good friends, adam, lorie, and baby jenna were game enough to join us, too. the tree farm tried to make it a memorable experience with a petting zoo, hayrides, santa, and free hot apple cider.  mmm… our new llama friend.   wandering around 100 acres of christmas trees   this is the one!  hack ‘er…

latest on phil:  he took step 2 of the boards yesterday.  bah.  he came home looking kinda discouraged and said he felt like he didn’t do very well.    poor guy, he’s studied for months for this thing.  we’ll find out his score in four weeks.  eek! latest on me:  my work-from-home job started up a couple weeks ago and boy, it’s taken up pretty much all of my free time (aka mikey’s nap).  i’m really glad for the work to get a little extra income, but it’s been hard giving up those lovely afternoon naps.  last tuesday, i went to the moms group at church.  it’s been really nice…
