after a GRRRREAT visit in california, we made it back home yesterday evening.  oh, it was SO wonderful to be back in our own home and throw down our suitcases and just…  be.  phil and i wondered if mikey had forgotten his own house after being in so many different places the last two weeks, but like us, he seemed to know just where he was and his little body seemed to relax just a bit more.  he even remembered his favorite toy in the living room- the wooden coasters!  he went right to them and got right to work pounding them on the coffee table.  however, we all seem…

ha ha!  i got my whole ‘to do’ list done!  everything.  all of it.  except the packing.  oh how i hate to pack.  but besides that, we’re about ready to come over! 

so we’re leaving tomorrow.  mikey’s cold has progressively gotten worse today.  the upside is that he’s way more mellow when he’s sick and is more content to just sit instead of climbing all over the place.  downside is he could be pretty cranky on the late-night flight.  so we’ll see! otherwise, i still have so much left to do!  gotta pack for phil, mikey, and myself.  pick out and print pictures to give to my parents.  go to small group tonight with the boy and without the boy’s father.  read the chapter for tonight’s meeting.  return a carseat and buy another one.  empty perishables out of the fridge.  do one…
