happy birthday to my honey phil!  the big 3-0. wowsers. to celebrate, i booked the ‘birthday buzz’ party package at the Minnesota Swarm.  it’s the innaugural season for our very own lacrosse team.  swarm!  swarm!  because it’s just starting out, we got a great deal and cool stuff!  here we are in the party area…   we had hot dogs and cupcakes…  like the candle?    took in a rousing game of lacrosse…   where the announcer wished phil a happy birthday!   here’s the swarm’s newest, smallest fan!   and we got swarm hats, too!  modeled here by mikey…   a great time was had by all, especially the birthday boy! 

so mikey and i were at the grocery store yesterday and this older lady came over to love on mikey.  he stared her down.  (i wish he’d smile more at random strangers!  heh.)  she kept saying he looked just like tiger woods.  and then she asked if people said that a lot.  and then she asked if she could take him home if i didn’t want him.  huh?!

it’s a miracle! apparently mikey’s decided that mommy is old news.  in just this last week or two, he’s a changed boy.  he’s happily stayed in the church nursery for the whole service, he’s actually wanted to be held by other people, and even snuggled (gasp!) with our friend joe.  this morning, we had a little playdate at my house () with two other moms and their babies.  mikey had a great time inspecting the two younger babies, ‘sharing’ his toys, and then reveled in being held by the other moms!  who is this kid?!  here he is with his new buddy, mrs. lorie-   i was so astounded, i had…
