Pan Family Session
It’s always an honor to be asked to photograph a precious family– to preserve this one moment in their shared history, to contribute to their “remember when they were this little/when we looked like this/when the days were so long but the years are flying by” memories. I love every opportunity I get to do a family session. And that honor multiplies when a family has me back the following year. The Time He Turned Five
Well. So a small anecdote first. Remember in the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (the weird, not as good Johnny Depp version), the grandparents were all in bed discussing Mr. Wonka’s chocolate factory and Grandmother Geraldine breaks in with, “I love grapes!” Talking to Phil is sometimes kind of like that. Like I’ll say, “Do you want me to pack this veggie salad up for your lunch tomorrow?” One would think the answer would be either yes or no, or some variation of yes or no. Maybe, for instance. Daddy Daughter Dance
The girls were so excited when it was announced that there would be a “Daddy Daughter Dance” at their school. Truth be told, we too were excited about this evening and sought to make it a special time for the girls.
