Mickey’s Halloween Party
One post a month… I’m really catching up now! ::eyeroll:: It was mid-October. We told the kids we were going to pull them out of school a little early to get flu shots. Except, the drive was taking a lot longer. And we’ve never had to get on the freeway to get to the doctor’s office. They were puzzled but just mostly happy to be missing a couple hours of school. Then they started to recognize the familiar drive. And the Mickey ears started appearing on top of the streetlights. …

First Day Favorites
Before any of us were at all ready for it, the first day of school was upon us. It was a big day for Mikey as it was his first day of middle school (dun dun dun), a big day for Allie as it was her first day of her final year of elementary school, a big day for Lauren and Jonah as it was both their first day at a new elementary school, and a big day for ME as it was my first day juggling three different schools with three drop off times and four different pick up times.
