    Her Party

    Because she is a planner and because she knew this was our party year, Allie had asked several months in advance for a baking themed party with her friends. Seemed easy enough and we had plenty of time to gather ideas, supplies, and put everything together.     Well.   So a small anecdote first.   Remember in the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (the weird, not as good Johnny Depp version), the grandparents were all in bed discussing Mr. Wonka’s chocolate factory and Grandmother Geraldine breaks in with, “I love grapes!”   Talking to Phil is sometimes kind of like that.
