mikey has come down with some bug or other tonight. btw, is it normal for kids to get sick so often?! i feel like he’s sick every other time i look at him! he’s been throwing up all night and hasn’t been able to keep anything down. poor baby. 
course, smelling all that vomit is doing wonders for my own nausea. *heh heh, sarcasm.*
phil’s been at work since 6 this morning and is on call at the hospital tonight and won’t be home til late tomorrow afternoon. hoo boy.
to make matters even more complicated, i have my big once-a-year meeting for my work tomorrow morning that’s supposedly mandatory. i had a babysitter all set up for mikey (nevermind the 60 miles i’d have to drive to get him there and pick him up) but she has her own little baby and i don’t want to risk getting him sick, too. so i think i’ll have to call in my first ‘i have to stay home with my sick child’ message tomorrow. this is when it’d be a little bit nice to have family close by…
on a happier note, i had my first prenatal appointment this morning. i’m about 10 weeks along and the doctor was able to find the baby’s heartbeat with the doppler. wow, there’s really a baby in there!
going to drag my tired self to bed now.

hang in there michelle! megan had roseola too. it’s the pits. sorry to hear that mikey has been so sick lately. is he around sick kids often? yay for the baby heartbeat!!!! it’s always such a relief to hear that muffled swirling sound of the doppler!
