california, oregon, utah, arizona, new mexico, minnesota, wisconsin, iowa, illinois, missouri.
those are the places phil has applied to for residency. in no particular order. except for maybe the first one. 
the personal statement has been written and revised and re-revised. the recommendation letters have been collected. the resume updated. the publications, job experience, qualifications, and research have all been duly noted. so now we’ll wait and see where he gets interviews and then see where he matches in march (and pray that he DOES match somewhere, anywhere!). and of course pray, pray, pray for God’s will to be done and for Him to be glorified with whatever the outcome. and for me not to be anxious about it all. the time is upon us!
