we woke up this morning to this:
not quite the 4-8 inches with heavy winds they were predicting last night, but a lovely dusting instead. too bad it was too cold and too icy to let mikey out to play in it this afternoon!
btw, here’s mikey and me (and bear) doing our nightly cuddle before he goes down to bed. now add in a sippy-top bottle of milk and you’ll see why we’re both so reluctant to give it up! 
*update* phil just got offered an interview at harbor-ucla!!! after a slew of rejections (too discouraging to list them all 
) we’re SO encouraged with this news. trusting that the Lord will open a residency spot somewhere for phil despite all the odds.

wow…it’s hard imagine it being cold and snowy elsewhere when it’s so warm here. sometimes it’s nice to have it cold outside so that you can be nice and cozy inside.
