edit: oops! i meant i had it narrowed down to 2, possibly 3, choices– #1, 3, and 5. i didn’t realize til just now that it sounded like i wanted #2 or 3. heh heh.
so a big THANKS to everyone who weighed in on the diaper bags! especial thanks to minna and janete for their expert opinions! 
so i have it narrowed down to 2 or 3, but still have a few factors to mull over. who knew this would be such a process?! so my christmas present from phil will be delayed a bit- until i can make up my mind!
tonight, we got into the holiday mood by putting a gingerbread house together. was a bit messy, but a fun family project!
daddy hard at work ‘cementing’ down the roof.
mikey was quite interested in the proceedings. especially interested in sampling all the pretty candies.
still sampling…
thankfully, mikey left a few candies to decorate the house.
mmm, this icing’s not bad either!

aw. i like the first photo. it reminds me of when my daddy would help us makes those little wooden cars for AWANA races. daddy’s always take helping their kids so seriously!
I still say #3. if you go with pink, you’ll never really be able to wear anything red.

and, about hans’s suggestion for the rei diaper bag…..you were so nice to acknowledge his contribution. when i read his choice for the rei bag….i was like….no, no, no…..she’s looking for something girly and pretty!…..not “gear” from rei. haha. right now, i like it cause it’s so functional….but i’ll probably get the itch to get something for looks once kate’s a little older and i’m more settled into motherhood. for now, i’ll indulge hans on his “gear” find.
