the traveling bug bites us again!
since phil had the week between christmas and new years off, we decided to take a family vacation down to florida to get in some quality time together and to thaw out a bit from this minnesota winter. it’s been soooo nice to be all together day after day after day… hee hee. i’m not sure if we can get back to our normal schedule now!
so we flew in to orlando on christmas. checked in to our hotel and did a little sightseeing- most everything was still open since it’s such a touristy area.
monday, we drove over to cocoa beach to spend the afternoon. this actually ended up being our favorite part of the trip!
first, we fueled up on $3.99 ultimate breakfast buffet! how embarrassing, that plate of food was actually mine!

sand doesn’t taste too good, but it’s sure fun to play with!

i love that picture of mikey eating the shell. his haircut makes him look like such a little man now. you guys are so fun going on a trip like that all spur of the moment-like. crazy! you are heading towards the end of your baby ticker!! ahh! time flies! 🙂

what a fun vacation! i remember visiting cocoa beach when we went on a family trip to disney world when i was in the sixth grade. i can’t wait until hans, kate and i will be able to go on trips together!
