florida recap, continued.
on tuesday, we went to disney world! 
we spent the first half of the day at epcot center.

mighta been the turkey tryptophan thing that caused mikey to totally pass out just before we got on the ‘it’s a small world’ ride. poor thing, he was so-o-o tired! poor daddy too, this was the ride he was looking forward to having mikey ride! here he is ‘enjoying’ the ride.
but! mikey perked up again just in time for the buzz lightyear ride. phil was quite intent on aiming at the targets, but my competitive streak prevailed. mommy’s score = 38,000. daddy’s score = 32,000. heh heh.
wednesday we went to gatorland with our friends joe and tara miller. joe was the assistant pastor at the church we used to go to. they moved down to florida last year to work in another church. it was great to see them again!
the alligators were awfully lazy. here they are lounging around. they were so still that i was there for a good 15 minutes before i realized that those were REAL and not just statues! even the birds weren’t scared of them!
it was nice to spend the afternoon here as it wasn’t as crowded as disney world was. in fact, this was kinda the antithesis to disney world. here’s a guy ‘gator wrestling’. like how the people in the audience are thrilled and amazed by his antics?

we ended the day with dinner at boston lobster feast — all you can eat seafood buffet! i managed to tuck away two lobsters and a side of crab legs. yum. 
mikey helped.
all in all, it was a grrrreat trip! mikey was a trooper even though he didn’t get much sleep the whole time. the best part was being all together as a family.

I can’t wait until we go to Orlando…or, if we go to Orlando. They always have fall Nationals there so hopefully we can go in the future.

“Pear Martin” sounds like a mixed drink…hahaha.
It’s weird because one day I was thinking about it and I thought, my name sound kind of weird….Helen. hahaha. maybe because it’s not a very popular name. But I like it. My dad named us after famous people. My brother’s named after Howard Hughes. And I like my korean name.
