phil’s been studying like mad the last couple of weeks for his final two tests at the end of this week. he actually has a test the morning of his graduation. yikes! 
so he’s been at the library every evening after work and on weekends. i can’t WAIT for his break! but he spotted the p&p dvd there and remembered that i’ve been wanting to watch it. he left it on the counter for me a couple of days ago. so sweet, huh? though he DID say he had no desire to watch it with me. hmph! so it’s been sitting there the last couple of days as i’ve turned into a human whirlwind cleaning the house top to bottom for our guests (my brother and sister-in-law, my dad, and phil’s mom) and for the bash we’re throwing to celebrate phil’s officially becoming a doctor next weekend.
so finally, i’m taking a break and going to watch part of this movie. i haven’t seen a whole movie start to finish without having to stop and tend to one child or other in… well, a long time. the house is about 2/3 finished, but it seems every time i finish one room and start on another one, the clean room is torn apart again… but then, i’d rather have a somewhat unkempt home full of the love and laughter of little ones than a spotless mansion any day!

i know what you mean about watching movies…we have quite a few “new” releases that have gone un-viewed since we have a lack of time. funny, it seems like yesterday you moved to MN, and now you’ll be back in CA in a year.
is your mom coming to see phil graduate or to see the new baby? it’s nice that your dad will be in town for it. don’t worry about the housework…they are there to see you and the kids are a nice distraction for any messy room (i can’t imagine a messy room in your house) š

i’m sorry to others who might think otherwise, but keira majorly bugs! and so does the guy they casted for mr. knightley. can’t touch colin firth. anyhoo…congrats to phil (and YOU!) for finishing med school!!!
