cars
took mikey to catch the matinee showing of ‘cars’ last friday afternoon. his first movie in the theater! popcorn, junior mints, sierra mist, and a whole movie all about cars. the boy was in heaven. 
headed into the theater…
we got there super early to make sure we’d get primo seats. gotta love that stadium seating!
mikey has developed a serious addiction to ‘pop-keh-keh’ (popcorn). he’d eat it all day long if we let him. he insisted on keeping the large bag right next to him so he could munch to his heart’s content.

we all really enjoyed ourselves– mikey did great through pretty much the whole movie. allie slept her way through it. we love that girl. she’s such an easy baby! anyway, we stayed til the bitter end and were the last ones to leave! (i bet everyone else thought we were total weirdos for taking so many pictures in the theater. but this is what happens when you rarely get to go to the movies! the last movie i’ve seen in the theater was ‘hero’.)

i wished ian could sit through a movie, it is so rare that we get to see movies in the theater. hmmm, i guess we’ll wait until it hits dvd. if only they had “little einsteins” in theaters…that he would sit through! 🙂

how fun! sam and austin went to see it with eddie and the kids. i kinda wanted to go too but stayed in with jea to rest. austin sported his cars shirt!
